VPN setup and subscription import
Get your subscription in the user panel, then import the configuration on your device. Once connected, check your exit IP and the sites you need to access. Skip any steps you've already completed.
Client interfaces may vary This guide uses general terms such as “subscription,” “configuration,” and “import.” Menu locations vary between operating systems and clients, so follow the download instructions in the user panel and the interface of your client. If you see a similarly named option, check what it does before proceeding.
Create an account and open the user panel
Use the “Start Free” link below to open the GHZVPN account creation page. No email address is required; you can create an account with a username and password. Follow the on-page instructions, and check your entries before submitting, especially capitalization and keyboard input settings. Choose a password you don't use on other sites and save it in a trusted password manager so you can sign in from other devices later.
When you're done, open the user panel and confirm that your account is ready. If you’re still on the sign-in page, use the username and password you just saved to sign in; there’s no need to create another account. Creating an account and activating a plan are separate steps. Access to the panel means you can view plans and client downloads—it doesn't mean your device is connected to an international route.
Manage your plan, subscription, downloads, and support tickets in the same user panel. Save the panel link, but don't put your password in shared notes or public screenshots. Sign in with the same account on other devices; GHZVPN supports unlimited devices, so you don't need a separate account for each one.
Choose a data allowance and check the billing method
Open the plans section in the user panel. Compare monthly subscriptions with data packages, then choose an allowance. Monthly subscriptions suit regular use: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Consider your typical browsing, video, and file-transfer needs rather than choosing based only on the number of devices. Multiple devices share the data allowance; unlimited devices doesn't mean unlimited data.
Monthly subscription data resets each month on your activation date, not at the start of the calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Check the plan change details shown in the panel before confirming. For occasional use, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data lasts until used and never expires. These packages aren't monthly plans.
Check the plan name, price, and billing method, then follow the instructions on the order page. Pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT as directed in your order. After paying, return to the user panel to check your order and plan status. If the page hasn't updated yet, refresh it before taking any further action; don't pay again just because the status hasn't changed. If you need help, describe the order in a support ticket from the panel.
GHZVPN offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. Before getting started, review the full prices on the Plans page and the refund terms in the Terms of Service. Once your plan is active, get your subscription; there's no need to repeatedly try importing it before activation.
Get your subscription from the account overview
Open the account overview in the user panel and check your plan status and remaining data first, then find the subscription option. A subscription lets your client retrieve route configurations; it isn't a regular website address or an installer. In most cases, importing the subscription is enough for the client to retrieve the configuration, so you don't need to enter route details one by one.
If the panel offers an import option for your client, use it first. Your browser may ask whether to open the associated app. Confirm it's the right app, then check the client for the new configuration. If the app doesn't open, don't keep clicking. Make sure the client is installed, then copy the subscription link and import it manually.
When copying the link, use the panel's copy option if available to avoid missing part of the address. Switch to your client and paste it under subscriptions or remote configurations. Paste the link into the configuration URL field, not the route name field or a search engine. After importing, check that the client shows regions and routes. If you see a configuration name but no routes, check whether the update completed.
Keep your subscription link as securely as your account credentials. Anyone with a shared link may use your account's data, so don't include the full link when asking for help. Before sharing a screenshot, hide the link and any sensitive account details. If you suspect the link has been exposed, check whether the panel offers a reset option, then update the configuration on each device.
Import the client for your platform
Get the GHZVPN client for your system from the user panel and follow the panel instructions for a subscription-compatible import method. After signing in, you can get the clients for Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux without a purchased plan. Downloading a client and connecting are separate steps; check your subscription status before connecting. The iOS download option has a separate plan-status requirement; see the instructions below.
The steps below describe common subscription-based client interfaces. If the panel offers one-click import, use the option for the client you installed. To import manually, look for “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or “Remote Configuration” in the client and add the link. Menu labels may vary, but the steps are the same: add the subscription, update it, enable the configuration, and choose a route.
Windows: Import the configuration and enable the proxy
Sign in to the panel and open the downloads section to get a client for Windows. Follow the installation instructions. In the client, look for an add option in configuration or subscription management. Paste the link copied from the account overview into the address field; give the configuration a recognizable name if you like. Save it, update the configuration, check that the route list has loaded, then select this configuration.
Importing a configuration alone usually doesn't send browser traffic through the client. Return to the connection or main screen and enable the system proxy or connection switch as instructed by the client. For your first connection, leave other network settings unchanged and don't run multiple proxy clients at once. Keep the client running and check the result in the verification steps below.
macOS: Allow the permissions needed to connect
Get the macOS client from the panel and follow the download instructions to set it up. Add the remote configuration under subscriptions or configuration, paste the subscription link, and update it. If you import through the panel, confirm that the browser is opening the app you intend to use. After importing, check that the route details are complete and select the configuration you want to use.
When you enable a connection, macOS may ask you to authorize proxy settings or a network extension. Check the app name and source, then allow the permissions requested by the system. If you leave a permission prompt unresolved, the client may show a route list even though your network hasn't switched as expected. After granting permission, return to the client, make sure the connection switch is on, and test in a browser.
Android: Add a subscription and confirm system authorization
Sign in to the user panel and get the Android client from the downloads section. Follow Android's prompts about the app source and permissions during installation. Once installation is complete, you can turn off any temporary permission to install apps. Open a client that supports subscription import, add the remote link under configuration or subscriptions, paste and save the address, then update and select the imported configuration.
On your first connection, Android may show a VPN connection authorization dialog. This is the system asking permission for the app to establish a network connection. Check the app and continue, then choose a region and route. Keep the client in the foreground while testing. If it often disconnects in the background, check whether battery management is restricting the app; there's no need to change every background setting right away.
iOS: Open downloads and import from the panel
Get the iOS client through the App Store link in the user panel. Accounts with an active, purchased plan can access the corresponding download link. If the panel asks you to choose a plan first, return to the plans section to check your account status, then go back to downloads. Don't look for installation files or profiles on unfamiliar sites.
After installation, return to the account overview and use the import option for your client, or copy the subscription and add the remote link in the client's subscription or configuration settings. Update the configuration and choose a route, then connect and confirm the VPN configuration when prompted by iOS. If iOS asks you to authenticate, do so in the system dialog. Never enter your device unlock credentials in a subscription URL or support ticket.
Linux and multiple devices
Linux is supported too. Check the downloads section in the user panel for the client and import instructions. Settings may vary by distribution, so this guide doesn't cover command-line setup. To use GHZVPN on another device, get the client and import the subscription there as well. Choose a route on each device; check your data usage in the panel.
Choose a route and check access
After importing the configuration, choose a region that suits the service you want to access, then select a route type. GHZVPN covers 90+ countries / 170+ routes. See the Route list for regions and route types. You don't need to change rules, DNS, or advanced routing options at first. Start with the client's default settings or the settings recommended in the panel to make it easier to identify any issues.
After connecting, check that the client shows a connected status. On the same device and in the same browser, open the IP check page and see if the exit information matches your selected route. Being able to open a regular webpage only confirms that basic connectivity is working; a connected status doesn't mean every app uses the same route. Split-tunneling rules may send different sites through different exits, so also check the site you actually want to use.
If your exit information hasn't changed as expected, check that you've selected the configuration you just imported, the subscription updated successfully, and the proxy or connection switch is on. Then check whether another proxy app is running or whether your browser has separate proxy settings. Change one thing at a time and refresh the page to check the result. This makes it easier to find the cause than changing the route, mode, and network all at once.
If your exit information looks right but a video or AI service is still unavailable, check the service's regional requirements, account eligibility, and on-page messages. A network connection doesn't replace a platform subscription or account permissions, and it doesn't guarantee access to every content region. See Access support for troubleshooting ideas. Don't judge the whole subscription by the results from just one site.
Once the webpage and the app you need both work, your initial setup is complete. If the route list changes, update the subscription first. For route-type comparisons, plan and billing details, or more in-depth connection troubleshooting, read the Cross-border connectivity guide. If you still need help, describe your system, client, selected region, steps taken, and any error message in a user panel support ticket. Hide your subscription link and account credentials before sharing screenshots.
Setup checklist
Your plan is active, the configuration includes routes, the client connection is enabled, and the exit information and access results match your expectations. Keep the user panel link and client handy, and store your subscription link securely.
